FAQ
Journals & Content
What makes these journals different from a regular notebook or scripture journal?
These journals pair specific General Conference talks with creative, structured layouts. Unlike a blank notebook, you’ll find images to color, reflection prompts, and doodling space. Everything is designed to engage hands-on learners and provide a guided study experience.
What type of content is inside? Are they blank pages?
These are not blank journals. They feature the entire text (including footnotes) of every address from each session of General Conference. The talks are interspersed with:
- Creative prompts and reflection questions.
- Intricate images to color.
- Ample space for personal notes.
- QR codes for every talk that lead directly to the Gospel Library so you can listen as you create.
Who are these journals for?
Our core audience includes anyone seeking a deeper spiritual connection but who might struggle with traditional, linear study methods. This is a perfect fit for:
- Kinesthetic and visual learners.
- Creative types and "doodlers."
- Neurodivergent individuals (ADHD/Autism).
- Anyone seeking peaceful reflection time.
Is this journal faith-specific?
Yes. These journals are based on the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They include the inspired messages of peace and guidance shared by Prophets and Apostles during General Conference.
Do the journals include the entire text of the Conference talks?
Yes, the entire text and all footnotes of each address are included.
Materials & Usage
What type of pens/markers can I use? Will they bleed through?
Our journals are printed on 28 lb. (105 gsm) premium paper, designed to minimize bleed-through. We recommend testing heavy markers in the back, but felt-tip pens and colored pencils work perfectly!
What can you tell me about the paper quality?
We use smooth, 28 lb. paper with a super-bright (100) finish for the best coloring experience. It is sustainably made in the USA and is FSC certified, meaning it comes from renewably managed forests.
Is the journal spiral-bound?
Yes! Every journal is spiral-bound so it can lay completely flat, making it much easier to write and color.
How long does it take to complete one journal?
These are self-paced, so completion time depends on how you study! If you study one talk per week, the journal will last for several months. We’ve included checkboxes in the Table of Contents so you can easily track your progress.
